4th of July Lights

Our annual 4th of July party was a little smaller this year. Smaller budget for fireworks also, but it was the 1st ever light show with the Light-O-Rama equipment. This allowed me to try out some sequencing and equipment without being on a public stage out in the front yard. This is only 16 channels of the 64 I will have at Christmas time.

The YouTube video is cut short on the last song because the battery in my camera died. (Learning experience, next time charge battery before recording...duh!)  Check out the show at..

Christmas In April...

We are making the jump to Light-O-Rama Computerized Christmas light controllers for our holiday lighting display this year. This is the first time I have hooked it up to a actual display prop and ran a sequence. Please watch the video on YouTube link....

New Years Eve....Day

It was snowing off and on during the day and I went to the Sedgwick County Zoo in hopes of getting some pictures of the animals in the snow. The snow did not cooperate but the animals did, allowing me to get some great pictures of the big cats.

New Years Eve....CANCELLED

With USFoods deciding that they needed to have the drivers work on New Years I had to work on New Years Eve. For the 1st time in the 31 years we have been together Nora and I were not together at midnight to ring in the New Year with a kiss. I was in Stillwater Ok dropping off a trailer at the Stillwater yard at midnight. Thanks USFoods.... Hope taking away my holiday paid off for you.
